All I want for Christmas is a blue suede jacket with three foot long white trim.
Can you imagine U2 or any major group doing this now??? Thank GOD for hideous recording contracts with ABC-Dunhill!

It's -uh - interesting Grem. I can't tell if it was a straigh-up music video or if it was part of some sitcom episode that I'm unfamiliar with. I'm thinking maybe the latter.
At any rate, it was good to see that the entire seven-person band, from their early days, were there.
I love the song, but was never able to understand what it all meant. Unless it was an other world ghostly suggestion pointed at the New York Football Giants giving them advice as to who to pick in the first round of the 2004 NFL draft.

Laura Nyro wrote it as part of a concept album...that's about all I know of it--that and networks play it to death whenever the Giants are on. Apparently it was the end of a "seance" skit, with Lily Tomlin (who got the name wrong, adn had to be corrected) I SWORE that this video had to be the work of Sid and Marty Kroftt--but the opening credits to "Music Scene" do not list them. But it sure looks like the old Krofft live action shows...

I like it! Among my favorite TDN songs, cool to see Lily Tomlin as well! Wasn't "Music Scene" available awhile back on DVD?

Well Grem, how bout some blue suede shoes. With three foot long white trim, of course.
Looks to me like a lost outtake from the filming of "The Exorcist". Discarded cuz it didn't fit in in with the tone of the rest of the movie.
