Never heard of them before, but apparently "Legs" Larry Smith, a band member was born 67 years ago today according to Wikipedia. The best line in the article is: "Legs" Larry Smith joined in 1963, as a tuba player and tap-dancer (but later as a drummer), on Vivian's invitation." - Tuba player and Tap Dancer ?

Easier to imagine than a tap dancing drummer! The band had one song on the radio in the 60s. I remember "Jollity Farm". Sort of a novelty band, song sort of like "Winchester Cathedral" What I found interesting in the link was that Pete Best settled a 9 million dollar lawsuit (for defamation of character) against the Beatles.

The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band had a cameo appearance in Magical Mystery Tour singing a tune called "Death Cab For Cutie" ... which tune is obviously the origin of the name for the '90s/'00s band.
