I'm not quite sure where to put this topic, but I guess here is as good as anywhere. A few years ago, Dawn posted a link to a website which contained several pages of lists of the Billboard Top 40 and Top 100 from every year from 1955 through 2003. Nearly your own personal free Whitburn! It was put together by someone named Gramble. I used this site frequently since then if I forgot a song, artist, chart position, etc., especially if I didn't have a Whitburn handy. Well, a couple of months ago, the site went belly up. Of course, I was sorry that I hadn't made .mht copies of the pages. Then I remembered the "wayback machine" and similar sites. I found the old Gramble pages and was able to download them in their entirety to my hard drive in about 10 or 12 files totalling just a few MB. If you're interested, simply go to waybackmachine.org/and put in the link www.gramble.com/music/top40.html and you'll see all the pages that they have archived. Save what you want to your harddrive.

When I tried this it only showed stuff from 2003 and after... No, MC. The list it shows with PAGES being archived between 2003 and 2008. Those are the dates that wayback archived Grambles pages. You have to click on one of the dates on the list; any one will do probably, and will take you to Grambles home page. But the links on Grambles home page are live. They'll take you to all of the Top 40 and Top 100 pages.
