It really depends on the context of the song, and how it's used. Like for instance, I know quite a few songs that I will never listen to again because of those stupid Swiffer ads...

Some of them are just stupid. Lotteries and casinos using "For The Love of Money". Mercedes actually used the Janis Joplin song in an ad. Uh, if you actually LISTEN to the song you'd see SHE DIDN'T WANT A MERCEDES!!!
