I actually have this Toscanini recording in my collection, with the NBC Orchestra on the RCA Victor Red Seal label--on 78's, no less...
This of course is the Overture to the "Barber of Seville", which also brings up images of Bugs Bunny shaving and persecuting Elmer Fudd, which drew me to opera music in the first place.
While my opera knowledge is limited, I also have a few Enrico Caruso albums--I discovered him in college.

I'm just gonna start off by saying this. I dislike most country music. I don't care for the Grand Old Opry, I don't care for country music awards shows, and frankly, a couple of country artists scare the bejeezus out of me. And, then this guy releases this song, and I'm like...dammit, I like this one!  |

One sub genre that I have very little interest in is funky dance music.
Why do I absolutely love this song? I have no idea, but it's top 500 all the way!
