The Homecoming Party we had two weeks ago was a big success. Many old and new friends came, and among other things there was, of course, a lot of music discussion. So I went back to the time of the party, and came up with a bunch of songs that were being discussed at that time, and burned them onto a CD. 25 of us attended the party, and 20 of us mentioned at least one song. So I took one songs from each of the 20 people - and added a second song from me (HEY! it's my CD ) So ... may I now offer for your inspection: RIZZO PRESENTS: THE MUSIC CLICK - MEMORIES OF HOMECOMING 2007

Very cool idea, Ed! I really like the artwork design as well. Which program did you use for the label and covers? I have an edition of MediaFace from a couple of years ago, but I'm not altogether happy with it.

I couldn't get the tracklist on the back (or tray) cover to line up correctly as you can probably see. Of course, you know where Rizzo, The Music Click Logo and the little cds came from.

Sandwiching Kiss between Fats Domino & Teresa Brewer.. Interesting! I get a cool song!! Thank you, Ed! You are welcome, Pete. Actually, I remember the first time I heard All The Young Dudes back in the day, and I was thinking "Dudes"? Who in the hell calls guys "dudes". That really sounds stupid. Then at the same time I had this friend in grad school who was from Philly, and he would use "dudes" a lot, and everyone else laughed at him.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.
It was actually a lot of fun putting it together. -- and it got me to remember how bad "As the Years Go By" really is. I played it for my son, and his jaw literally dropped.
If anyone seriously wants a copy, your best bet might be to just burn it yourselves and copy the album art right out of this post.
If you'd like me to get you a copy, PM me and we'll work something out.

So I guess it was just a "stoner" term that hippies used back then?
