Thanks, Railyn. I'd definitely be interested in some of those you listed. I remember watching the one with Weird Al, but unfortunately I didn't tape it at the time, and they pretty much stopped showing the series not long after. Speaking of Al, I discovered last week that he's going to be at the Orange County Fair this summer. I've never seen one of his shows, but I imagine they must be very enjoyable! Just let me know which ones you like, and I'll start digging. I also have Weird Al hosting The List for an entire week, Peter Tork as a guest on The List, and the Weird Al Timeline (they were all VH1 Shows). I liked The List - I kind of miss it, but I think they went as far as they could with it. I can ask Brenda if she has any, and which ones she has. That would be great, Railyn, thanks. I'll PM you with more details.

I'd like to add both of Sam Neely's top 40 hits, and "Geronimo's Cadillac" by Michael Murphy. Pete, are you still looking for these songs? I've found mp3s of the Gentrys, Seatrain, and a couple of others...let me know.

Also, you mentioned you were interested in checking out the Saint Etienne CD I reviewed. Did you pick up a copy? If not, I'm expecting another copy any day now (I bought it on Amazon for a bonus disc that came only with the first pressing). I don't need two copies of the actual CD, so I'll give it to you if you want. It may, however, be just the CD, with no cover, if I remember correctly. Let me know.

That would be great, as I'm still very interested in hearing more of the CD, but haven't had a chance to pick up a copy. I'll PM you with more details about the songs I've found for you. The Seatrain in particular is really cool!

In addition to the 70's songs I posted above, I'm also looking for the following songs. (These are of the 80's rock/hair band genre. I don't know if anyone here can help me with these but it's worth a shot...):
"All The Time In The World"-Junkyard (1991) "None Of It Matters"-Blackeyed Susan (1991)
***FOUND BOTH OF THESE TODAY!***

I'm looking for a copy of Erasure's "In My Arms" (Love to Infinity Stratomaster mix). From what I understand, this version was only available as a CD single/EP, and is no longer in print. If anyone can help me with this, that would be great.

I looked through my Erasure stuff, but I haven't had any luck. I'll keep trying for you, though...

Pete, I've come across two more of the songs on your list - Dusk and Jerry Naylor. Do you still need these? If so, I'll be happy to send them over.

BTW- What did you think of the Saint Etienne CD? I'll send them out to you later this morning. LOVED the Fairfax High disc! I'm planning to seek out more of their albums. These songs are really well done, reminiscent of some of the great pop of the '60s and '70s. Hill Street Connection is my favorite track, with great atmosphere, almost jazz in style. I also especially liked Hit the Brakes, Swim Swan Swim, Clark Co. Record Fair and Afraid to Go Home.

I got the songs yesterday, just been too busy to post.. Thank you again! What did you think of the Good Humor album itself? As for other albums of theirs, none are quite as consistent and as good, to me, as Good Humor. "Foxbase Alpha" has some really good tracks, but a lot of filler as well. I'd recommend that one next. "Finnistere" is pretty good too, but it's a little harder to get into and has a lot of dance music on it (and an annoying British guy reciting lines between the songs that don't make any sense). "Tales From The Turnpike House" is decent. I didn't care much for "Sound Of Water" or "Tiger Bay", but to each his own.
