OK, here's some hints:
A lesser-known hit for Madonna, and a remake of an 80's hit for *N Sync--NOT Sailing.

On the 2 ZZ Top songs:
The first one's from their biggest selling album, and the second one's from an earlier album.

(bumping this up)
Look at ZZ Top's Eliminator album, and I forgot offhand which ZZ Top album has the other song. I think it's Tres Hombres, but it might be Fandango. Heck, it might even be Rio Grande Mud...

As Casey Stengel for the Mets once said:
"Can't anybody play this game no more!?!??"

OK..it seems like no one was answering, and I haven't the foggiest, so I did a little research.
Madonna and ZZT each had a song called "Bad Girl"
ZZT and NSTYNK each had a song called "Just Got Paid"

Bumping this up - with a couple of hints:
The Tanya & Sheena titles are each covers of big hits
The Sheena & Sandy titles are similar to the title of a song by a famous singer/songwriter who thought he could imitate Nirvana.

OK. We are getting nowhere.
More hints. The original songs that Tanya and Sheena covered both went to number one. Also they are technically not identical titles as one of them has a "The" in front of the rest of the words, at least in some references.
The Sheena and Sandy Songs: I said earlier that the titles are similar to the title of a song by a famous singer/songwriter who thought he could imitate Nirvana. - Well, recently Paul Anka put out an album called "Rock Swings" in which he covered several 80s rock songs and gave them a Sinatra-esque swing sound. One of the songs was Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit. -
So in other words, the clue for the second pair of artists could now read: the titles are similar to the title of a Paul Anka song.

I think I FINALLY got one half. Sheena & Sandy--One man woman? Good job, Dave. You got half. That means you can either get the other half, or you can ask half a question? ;D Still looking for Tanya and Sheena.

This thing is dying. --
To recap: the artists were: Tanya Tucker Sheena Easton Sandy Posey
Dave correctly answered the Sheena/Sandy portion with: One Man Woman
Still looking for the Sheena/Sandy portion.
- We've already said that the two songs have essentially the same name, but one has a "The" in front of it and the other does not (at least most times I have seen the titles in writing)
- We have also said that both songs are covers of songs that went to #1
A new clue: the band responsible for one of the #1 versions is among my favorite groups. The group responsible for the other #1 version is a female R&B act.

That last clue, I think, helped.
"Best of my love"--though I've NEVER heard Sheena or Sandy do a version.
