Still looking for the song title both Leo Sayer and Nigel Olsson recorded. It's a track off Nigel's only charting album (also contains his 2 top 40 hits), and I wanna get this over with, so here's the "clincher" hint: It was also the title of Leo's last top 40 hit.

IIRC, Leo's last top 40 hit was "Easy to Love". Right?

Not that one. It's from 1981, not 1978.

Oh, wait a minute. "More Than I Can Say"? ("Wo, wo, hey, hey--I love you more than I can say..." That must be it.)

Sorry, no--great guess. There was one more hit after that.

Thanks to amazon.com, I have it!
Living in a Fantasy
(BTW, I have heard Leo Sayer's song by that name, but I'd forgotten who sang it--until I was looking at Nigel Olsson's song titles on amazon.com, and that title rang a bell.)

Lenny and LRB did "Lady".
Couldn't find even a close match for Mr. Frey and LRB right off.

I'll put them on your suggestion list! (I think you were out anyway!)[/quote] You're right, I was. Well, I did suggest Cat Stevens, but that was for Ed. (Actually, Cat is a good suggestion, but I don't know enough songs of his to be able to help you come up with songs for the tourney.) Oh, BTW, I don't know if I could help you with songs for LRB either, but I'll try if need be. I only have one of their CD's (so far--the others are on my ever-growing list of stuff to get) and the one I have isn't one of their biggies. But I think they've had enough songs that have gotten airplay, so it probably wouldn't be hard to come up with 16 songs for a tourney.

LRB were one of my MANY suggestions some weeks ago, but I will consider them "Laura's suggestion", since they were maybe 15th or so in line, and I don't think Laura has made 15 requests LOL.

I'm sorry; I didn't mean to steal your suggestion! I know you made A LOT of them and I only made a few. BTW, how about Kansas? I don't think we've done them yet. Did someone already suggest them? Also, I'd like to see some Motown artists on here (Supremes, Temptations, etc.), although at this point I probably won't know any of their songs except the ones that get played on the radio. Hoping to familiarize myself with some of the other stuff, though. Anyway, I am bumping this up so the game can continue! You all have one more to guess! (Since Dave is away for a while, if someone else guesses it first, they can do the next one, so the game won't have to wait.)
