This is a popular game on another forum I belong to, and is kind of an expanded version of "Name A Song That..." "Gimme five" statements can pertain not only to songs, but also albums, artists, musicals - anything music-related. Each poster answers the criteria with five items, then poses a new criteria for the next person.
I'll start it off: Gimme five British Invasion artists other than the Beatles.

Jan & Dean Bruce & Terry The Everly Brothers The Righteous Brothers (Who DID chart before 1964) Bobby Rydell & Chubby Checker (I had to really research this. They did release duets together, but I'm still not sure of the release dates).
This was HARD!
Gimme five one-hit wonders who later had one or more members go on to solo success or success with another group.

Pete, Bobby and Chubby charted with a version of Jingle Bell Rock Christmastime 1961, and re-charted a year later.. I believe their album was out about the same time. -- Certainly well before 1964. I remember one track on their album was called "Your Hits" in which they sang segments of each other's hit songs.

(Without getting too far off topic) Ed, you're more familiar with the early 60's than I am, can YOU think of any other male duos? I didn't realize how few there were.

Gimme five one-hit wonders who later had one or more members go on to solo success or success with another group. One hit wonder is subjective, but this is my list: The Runaways (Joan Jett, Lita Ford) The Weathergirls (Martha Wash) The Left Banke (Ian Lloyd went to Stories - another one hit group) I may get an argument on: The Raspberries (Eric Carman) only one top 10 US hit Power Station (Andy Taylor left Duran Duran for Power Station, and then left to have his one and only solo hit)

A couple off the top of my head, Pete: Travis and Bob: Had a big hit with "Tell Him No" Kalin Twins Actually a late '50s duo. Had seveal top 1-00 songs. Their biggest,. "When" peaked at #5 in 1958 There are others, but I have to eat dinner.
