And Deep Purple when they first formed were known as Roundabout which was a very popular tune by Yes. Yes drummer Bill Bruford also played for King Crimson. Ken-this is a late night for you!

I'm lost-what artist are linking to? Sorry, Adam. I didn't finish the sentence. It should have been Roy also wrote and sang a song for his wife "Claudette" , which was also covered by the Everly Brothers.

Ok, I thought Claudette was some artist I missed over the years! The Everly Brothers' (and Roy's for that matter) Love Hurts was covered by Nazareth. (Maybe Logan or Pete will come up with a good one for this hard rock band!)

Jefferson Airplane also covered Triad a song written by David Crosby. I'm gonna take a stab at this now! David Crosby, after lots of accusation, finally admitted to being the father of Melissa Etheridge's children. It's not EXACTLY a musical link, but it works!

Yes it does! It brings us to the next artist! Melissa Etheridge recently did a Crossroads concert with Dolly Parton.
