Fleetwood Mac's definitive (IMO) album was titled "Rumors", coincidently the same title that Johnny Crawford (who played Chuck Connors' son on The Rifleman) used for a hit single back in 1962 that peaked at #12. Johnny's other hit was Cindy's Birthday, and that is the first name of a certain Ms. Lauper (albeit a different spelling).

Dionne teamed up with three other vocalists for 1985's 'That's What Friends Are For', one of whom was Stevie Wonder. Stevie, with his talent and style coupled with the fact that he has been blind since birth has always been compared with an older performer with the same characteristics - Ray Charles.

When Ray Charles was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the award was presented to him by another music legend - Quincy Jones.

Before joining Wings, guitarist Denny Laine was a founding member of another legendary group, the Moody Blues. In the Moody Blues' Legend of a Mind, they use the phrase, "astral plane", as does the song Dream Weaver by Gary Wright. (How's THAT for a connection! LOL!)
