Jerry Lee became famous (infamous?) for having a relationship with a young teenage girl. Not to be outdone was The King himself - Elvis Presley

One of Elvis' many #1's was "Stuck on you"--the same title returned to the top 3 in 1984 for Lionel Richie.

Alabama covered "God must have spent a little more time with you" by *N Sync. The boy band actually sang back up on Alabama's remake, and both versions hit the pop chart: #8 for *N Sync's original, and #29 for Alabama.

You will all LOVE this connection!
Christopher Cross "thought of Laura", but the Monkees declared "For Pete's sake"! That's was the best connection I could think of, given the first half of it...

OK... if it's weird connections you want:
The Monkees are by far the most popular group ever to be named after a type of primate using a different spelling. Trailing far behind are: The Human Beinz

Well, if we are doing people's names from this board, there's "Adam Raised a Cain" by Bruce Springsteen, and then there's an instrumental I heard on a big band channel (when I had Digital Cable Radio) called "Dave's Not Here", but I don't remember who did it. (There's also a kids' Sunday school song called "Only a Boy Named David".) And of course the Four Seasons had "Dawn". Woody, I think your name comes up in a couple of songs about cars! I'm sure there are more examples...

At least Ed could see the connection. I thought of the Four Seasons, but they've been used a few times this game already I felt.
Oh.

You came up with the Human Beinz, Ed.
My fault.
As if I'm in a demented mood tonight...
The Isleys commanded "Pop that thang", and the 2 Live Crew commanded "Pop that coochie".

The Pointers' song "Jump (for my love)" was originally simply titled "Jump", but became subtitled to avoid confusion with Van Halen's "Jump".

Van Halen's first top 40 chart hit was a remake of You Really Got Me, originally done by the Kinks.
