The Kinks sang about one British subject, named Victoria. And another British subject honored was Henry VIII from Herman's Hermits. Herman's Hermits covered "I'm Into Somethin' Good", originally a minor hit for Earl-Jean (Ethel 'Earl-Jean' McCrea), former lead singer of The Cookies.
