Yep, it's "Back in the USA". "Jambalaya" was written & sung by Hank Williams, who also did "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", which was remade by B J Thomas.

B.J.'s hit (Hey Won't You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song was a #1 hit on both the pop and country charts in 1975; another artist to accomplish that feat the same year was John Denver.

John Denver has a name just like a US city, as did the character Nathan Detroit, from "Guys and Dolls", which had the hit "Luck Be a Lady", a big hit for Frank Sinatra...

While we are doing fairly well in keeping three of our long running games (Choose A Song, Name a Song That and the ABC Song Game) active, we have let our two oldest and longest running games (The Click Song Linking Game and The Music Click Artist Linking Game) apse.
It seems that I provided the last link on both of these games, so cannot make the next link.
I am therefore bumping them up and repeating the last answer.
So .. for the Music Click Artist Linking Game, the last answer was:
VH lead singer David Lee Roth was cited in "The Chanukkah Song" by Adam Sandler
So the link is Adam Sandler.

Pink Floyds' "Animals" album contained three different tracks with the word "Pigs" in the title. But the song "Piggies" comes from the White Album by The Beatles.

Another Beatles White Album cut, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, featured Eric Clapton on guitar.
